PRINCE2 Project Management Training

PRINCE2 is one of the most recognised qualifications in project management today.
Focusing on methodology, it will help you run projects more effectively.

PRINCE2 Foundation
Learning Outcomes	Covering all the theory of PRINCE2 this course allows students to understand the methodology, how it works and where each role fits into the project.
Suitable For	This course is essential for anyone working in a PRINCE2 environment or needing to gain a recognised qualification within Project Management. Anyone wishing to formalise the way they run their projects and to put in place a common methodology will also benefit from this course.
Prerequisites	None
PRINCE2 Practitioner
Learning Outcomes	After completing the PRINCE2 Foundation examination, the Practitioner course takes the theory learned at Foundation level, and looks at putting it into practice.
Suitable For	This course is suited to anyone running a PRINCE2 project or wishing to take the next steps following their Foundation level.

MSP Project Management Training

MSP, like PRINCE2 is a framework, but focuses on programmes rather than projects. There are three levels to MSP.

MSP Foundation
Learning Outcomes	The Managing Successful Programmes Foundation certificate introduces a best practice framework for people operating in a programme or multi-project environment. All of the theory of the methodology is covered and will allow students to understand the terminology and structure.
Suitable For	The course is essential for staff working in a programme environment and is also useful for senior project staff, who are managing projects which form part of a larger programme.

MSP Practitioner
Learning Outcomes	Turning the Foundation theory into practice, this is a must have for people running programmes.

APM Project Management Training

The Association for Project Management has developed a very structured qualification path for Project Managers.

These qualifications work very well alongside the PRINCE2 methodology as they focus on skills and techniques, rather than the methodology required.

APM Introductory Certificate
Learning Outcomes	This introductory course for the APM not only leads to a recognised qualification, but is also a comprehensive introduction to the tools and techniques required by any project manager.
Suitable For	This course is ideal for anyone new to a project environment, and those who need to formalise their knowledge. This certificate is the first qualification in the APM's development path.
Prerequisites	None
APMP
Learning Outcomes	This in-depth course is aimed at project managers with up to two years experience or who have achieved the APM Introductory Certificate qualification. The examination will test the delegates knowledge in all areas of Project Management.
Suitable For	Project managers with up to two years experience or who have achieved the APM Introductory Certificate qualification.
Prerequisites	APM Introductory Certificate OR 2 years project management experience.
APM Practitioner Assessment Centre
Learning Outcomes	In this qualification candidates are assessed against 30 criteria, which require the candidate to demonstrate that they can analyse, identify and understand issues and information, and manage a non-complex project.
Suitable For	Project managers with three to five years experience. It will benefit project managers wishing to gain a recognised qualification to formalise their knowledge and experience.
Prerequisites	2-5 years project management experience.
APM Certificated Project Manager Interview
Learning Outcomes	The assessment process examines your ability to demonstrate the technical and management skills that enable excellent project management. Management skills include leadership, independent judgement, communication, vision, flexibility, self-awareness, responsibility and judgement. Techniques and methodologies include planning and budgeting, commercial acumen, contract and financial management, and environmental and political awareness.
Suitable For	Anyone with extensive experience in managing complex multi-disciplinary projects.
Prerequisites	Extensive project management experience including experience in the full project lifecycle.

ISEB Project Management Training

ISEB are well recognised as one of the leading accreditation organisations within IT.
They offer a whole range of qualifications, and within project management they offer:

ISEB Certificate in IS Project Management:
Learning Outcomes	This course assesses all areas of project management, but with a strong focus on IS projects. The course falls into two distinct sections and for this reason it is split it into modules. You must complete the PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner training, either as a five day classroom course or through blended learning, in order to complete module one. Module two, over five days, will teach the skills and techniques required to sit the final ISEB exam. If you already hold the PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification you can go straight to module two.
Suitable For	Project Managers working in an IS environment who wish to formalise their skills in this specialist area.
Prerequisites	ISEB conditions of eligibility requirements for candidates wishing to sit the examination are: adequate ability to communicate in both spoken and written English at least 25 years of age have had a minimum of 4 years’ experience in either Information Systems, or in management with a broad experience of Information Technology and Information Systems have attended training accredited to lead to the Certificate
